installed LAN cables to Weather1 and Weather 4 PC's (wireless off on #1 also).
Now they will have IP addresses on VPN which should allow pcAnywhere access to #4 (and #1 if I installed pcAnywhere on it later).

Also installed new low power AC adaptor for rain gage heater on deck (24VAC, 20VA, 0.8A).  Will test during winter to see if it can melt snow fast enough.  Factory AC adaptor (24V, 1.5A) failed--disintegrated from heat. Similar problem on Lehigh campus (STEPS-C) but for that AC adaptor I glued housing together with epoxy and it is still holding up.
