The Lehigh Weather Station 1 is located at the Goodman Campus of
Lehigh University near Bethlehem Pennsylvania. The site is located on the
fields of the Goodman Athletic complex and monitors weather and runoff
from nearby fields and paved areas plus snow depth during winter. The solar-powered
Campbell Scientific weather station is linked to the main campus and the
Internet via a spread spectrum radio modem. An ultrasonic sensor
that monitors water level & winter snow depth is underneath the platform.
