The site is located on the fields of the Goodman Athletic complex and monitors weather and runoff from nearby fields and paved areas plus snow depth during winter. The solar-powered Campbell Scientific weather station is linked to the main campus and the Internet via a spread spectrum radio modem.  An ultrasonic sensor that monitors water level & winter snow depth is underneath the platform.
